Terms of Use

1. What mlkyh is — and is not

mlkyh is an informational tool. You enter the assets you own; the app values them with market prices, computes totals and history, and can estimate zakat. mlkyh does not hold your money, does not connect to banks or brokers, does not execute trades and does not sell any financial product.

2. Not financial, tax or religious advice

• Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, an offer, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Decisions you make based on the numbers are yours alone.
• Prices are end-of-day values, not live quotes. They are fetched once after each market closes and three times a day for gold, silver and currencies, may be delayed, incomplete, estimated or simply wrong, and are shown with the date they refer to. Weekends and holidays show the last available close.
• Values of bank certificates, deposits and property are computed from the terms you typed using standard formulas; your bank's or the market's actual figures may differ.
• Zakat results are estimates using common methods (2.5% above the gold niṣāb). They are not a religious ruling; consult a qualified scholar for your situation.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and use the service for personal, lawful purposes.
• Sign-in is passwordless: Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or a 6-digit code sent to your e-mail. One account per verified e-mail; the same e-mail through any method reaches the same account.
• Keep access to your e-mail and device secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at support@mlkyh.com if you suspect misuse.
• The data you enter must be yours or data you are entitled to use. You keep all rights to it; you grant us only the licence needed to store, process and show it back to you and to send you the digests you opt into.

4. Free trial and subscription

• Every new account starts a free trial of 14 days. No payment method is collected and nothing is charged for the trial. The trial starts when you first sign in and is not repeatable.
• After the trial, full access requires an auto-renewable subscription bought through the Apple App Store: monthly or yearly. The price in your currency is shown in the app and in the App Store before you buy (base storefronts US$9.99 per month or US$99 per year; Egypt EGP 250 per month or EGP 2,399 per year; other storefronts at the nearest Apple price tier). Prices include applicable taxes where Apple collects them and may change for future periods with notice.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the then-current price.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions), or from the app via Settings → Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; we cannot issue them directly. Restore purchases from the app on a new device.
• If the trial ends or a subscription lapses, the app switches to read-only mode: you can still see your portfolio, history and the last prices, but cannot add or change holdings, refresh prices, use zakat or export data until you subscribe. Your data is kept, not deleted (see the Privacy policy for deletion).

5. Market data and third-party content

Market prices are supplied by third parties and remain their property:

• Marketstack (APILayer) — EGX and US equity closing prices.
• SAHMK — Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closing prices.
• MetalpriceAPI — global gold and silver spot prices (per ounce).
• Open Exchange Rates (APILayer) — foreign-exchange rates.
• iSagha — local gold and silver gram prices in Egypt.
• Ta3weem — local gold gram prices in Egypt.

You may use the data only within the app for your personal portfolio. You may not scrape, redistribute, resell or build a product on it. Providers may change or discontinue data at any time; a missing price does not entitle you to a refund but you may cancel at any time.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse-engineer, interfere with, overload or try to bypass the security of the service, including the server-side access rules and sign-in rate limits.
• Do not use the service for anyone else's money without their authority, or for anything unlawful.
• Do not share sign-in codes. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Intellectual property

The app, site, name "mlkyh" / "ملكية", logos and designs belong to us or our licensors. Apple's EULA governs your licence to the app binary. Open-source components are credited in the app's settings.

8. Your data: export and deletion

You can export your holdings, transactions and daily values as CSV at any time while you have full access, and delete your account inside the app at any time. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data within 30 days. See the Privacy policy for details.

9. Availability and changes

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may end the service with at least 30 days' notice, during which you can export your data. We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including accuracy of prices and calculations, and are not liable for any investment loss, lost profit or indirect damage arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes are brought before the courts of Cairo, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. Before going to court, write to us — most issues are solved by e-mail.
